It’s a kind of a joke – a bad one. I worked in Kosovo, in Georgia, in Afghanistan – everywhere I had reasonable internet connections, either by landline or GSM. But in my home area in Germany, one of the most developed countries of the world, I am not able to have a comparable one.
I have to use a bi-directional Sat connection with a maximum download of 1 MByte and only 256 kByte after 1.9 GByte of downloads/month (no problem with three persons using internet at home). Other connections are not available in our rural part of Germany.
Sometimes it’s really great to live in Germany 😦
